Conduct Update: Theta Chi







UPDATE 3/30: On March 24, 2017, the Lehigh University Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity was placed on temporary suspension pending the outcome of an investigation into multiple anonymous reports from parents of new members who reported hazing behaviors (ex: servitude, sleep deprivation, etc.)

As of the issuance of this letter on March 30th, the suspension of Theta Chi Fraternity is lifted and the chapter can resume operations.

It is required that Theta Chi initiate new members on Saturday, April 1, 2017 as scheduled in the New
Member Education plan and then reschedule the educational sessions that were missed for later in the semester.



TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF Theta Chi Fraternity

As of the issuance of this letter on March 24, 2017, the Lehigh University Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity is placed on temporary suspension pending the outcome of an investigation into multiple anonymous reports who reported hazing behavior (ex: servitude, sleep deprivation, etc.)

Effective immediately the Lehigh University Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity is prohibited from conducting all new member education activities until this suspension is lifted. This includes formal new member education programs. Additionally, new members may not attend any events on or off campus with the brothers of Theta Chi.
