Women's Empowerment Week!

This is the schedule for Women's Empowerment Week. Sorority Presidents, if events don't have numbers next to them please try to send a few members anyway and please send AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE to the speaker on Thursday!

Greek Awards Banquet - Nomination and Banquet Information

The Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council and the Panhellenic Council will be hosting the annual Greek Awards Banquet at SteelStacks on April 18th, 2012. We will be honoring the individual accomplishments of our alumni and student leaders. Each individual award is outlined below. Please take a moment to nominate the deserving members of our community and remember to touch on the criteria when recommending your nominees.

This Monday at 4:00pm in Packard 101, come see public speaker Adam Ritz make his popular "Are You Invincible?" presentation! Adam talks about the importance of good decision making and how one decision can affect the rest of your life. He does a lot of work with the NFL, as well as universities and specifically fraternities and sororities all across the nation!

I have personally seen his presentation before and I guarantee that all who attend will enjoy a meaningful presentation and will leave inspired by what he has to say.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for membership on the IFC Executive Board, one must:

  • Have a cumulative GPA over 2.5
  • Be at least a second year, full-time student in the University
  • Be an active, full-time, undergraduate member of an IFC recognized member fraternity





APPLICATION PROCESS:

Applications and a copy of a current resume are due Friday, March 23 by 4 p.m. to the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs (OFSA). You may sign up at that time for your interview with the Interfraternity Council Executive Board.  Please contact Jon Pribis, IFC President, at jmp312@lehigh.edu with any questions.



IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Applications due: Tuesday, March 20 by 4pm to OFSA
  • Interviews: Wednesday, March 21- Friday, March 23 at OFSA

Thank you for applying to be a Recruitment Counselor for the 2012-2013 Formal Recruitment period.  As you know, the job of a Rho Gamma is both exciting and challenging.  Before applying to become a Rho Gamma, please review the below expectations. 



As a Rho Gamma, you will be expected to:

-          Disaffiliate from your chapter.  Beginning in the summer, you will be asked to disaffiliate which will include, but will not be limited to the following: removal of chapter name from Facebook profile, removal of pictures from any online site that could allow PNMs to determine which house you are in, no longer wearing chapter letter shirts, refrain from in-house discussions about freshman women, etc.)

-          Attend all Informal Recruitment activities.

-          Meet with your group of PNMs several times throughout the semester

-          Attend any and all Rho Gamma training sessions

-          Be timely and organized
