Please see below for a message from the Interfraternity Council President:
The Interfraternity council is excited to announce that our advisor for the upcoming school year will be Assistant Dean of Students Christopher Mulvihill. Dean Mulvihill excitedly took the role when the position opened up during the summer and we look forward to working with him over the upcoming year. He started at Lehigh working with Greek life and is glad to have the opportunity to get back into it on an advising capacity. We are all very happy to have the opportunity to work with him in the future and look forward to using him as a valuable resource for our Lehigh Greek Community. When asked about what Dean Mulvihill wants the student body to know about this transition, he said:
I am excited to be serving as the advisor to the Interfraternity Council at Lehigh this year. I have been working with the Lehigh University Greek System since beginning at Lehigh in 2000, and I am proud to be associated with one of the nation's outstanding communities. I have been involved in Greek Life since my initiation into Alpha Chi Rho in 1989. I served Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity as a Leadership Consultant and served on the fraternities National Council for several years.
It is my hope that by working with IFC in a different capacity this year, I can assist the students involved in the Lehigh Fraternity system in further developing our premiere Greek Community.
Welcome to the Interfraternity Council Dean Mulvihill!
In addition, the IFC would also like to extend a special thank you and best wishes to our past advisor Jen Tedeschi. She was an extremely valuable resource to us all and we appreciate all of the time and effort she gave to improving the Greek experience not just for the IFC, but for the entire Greek Community as well. Best of luck as you continue your career at Gettysburg College as the Interim Assistant Director for Student Activities and Greek Life!
Sincerely,
Matthew Bay
