Cycle for Life- Pi Kappa Alpha

On April 1st (this Sunday), Pi Kappa Alpha will be hosting the Taylor Trudeau Cycle
for Life philanthropy event. It is an 8-hour stationary bike marathon
held at Taylor Gym, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Every attendee pays
$15 to ride for half an hour. All of the money raised goes to research a cure
for Leukemia and Lymphoma in honor of Taylor, a Pike from the University
of New Hampshire, who died of Leukemia.

We hope to see each chapter sponsor 16 of its members to cover one bike
for the duration of the event. It only costs $240 for the entire day,
and is a good way to add philanthropy money and hours right before
accreditation.

In addition, there will be music, free drinks and a raffle every half
hour throughout the day. Any chapter that mans a bike for the entire
day will also receive a few gift certificates to local businesses.

Please inform your chapter of the event, and consider participating in
this event, whether as a fraternity/sorority or as individuals. The foundation
donates 100% of the money raised to blood cancer research and any
amount of time or any donation helps.

Attached is a signup sheet that you may use. Contact the Pike Philanthropy
Chair, Alec Krosser (afk214@lehigh.edu) with questions
or to submit your signup sheet. Please make checks payable to Pi Kappa Alpha.
