Rachel Henke, Kappa Alpha Theta, is currently a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences
earning a major in Environmental Science with a minor in Biology on a
Pre-Med track. Rachel has always been above the All-Sorority and
All-Women GPA Averages during her time at Lehigh. In addition to her
coursework at Lehigh, Rachel spent the last summer in Iceland
researching renewable energy and organic waste management. This
semester, she transferred the knowledge she learned while in Iceland to
her environmental science research project at Lehigh. So far, her
compost pilot is showing promise as a practice the university can adopt
in order to be more environmentally friendly.
Rachel is also extremely involved on campus. Within her chapter, Rachel
serves on the Executive Board as our Chief Recruitment Officer. She is
also a campus tour guide, a member of the Association of Student Alumni
(ASA), a member of Phi Sigma Pi and Phi Eta Sigma, and volunteers for
Lehigh EMS. Despite all of her work in and out of our chapter, Rachel
still puts 100% into everything that she does.
Congratulations, Rachel, and thank you for your contributions!
